Getting it to you

Shipping

We are building an offer we can actually stand behind. This page explains how shipping will work and, just as plainly, which parts are still being settled with our fulfilment team before anything goes live.

Vacuum-sealed cuts packed in a branded shipping box

Where we ship

Coverage is being confirmed

Saying “we ship anywhere” is easy. Saying it and then failing to deliver a box of meat in good condition is not something we are willing to risk, so we are settling the details first.

Whatever this page ends up saying will match exactly what checkout will accept — no destination will be advertised here that cannot actually be fulfilled.

What we still need to confirm

Each of these has to be answered individually before any coverage claim can appear on the site:

  • The contiguous states — all of them, or a subset?
  • Alaska and Hawaii
  • U.S. territories
  • Remote and rural ZIP codes where transit time runs long
  • PO boxes
  • APO/FPO military addresses

Intake question 3.1 · blocks scoping

The process

How an order travels

The shape of this is settled. The timings attached to each step are not — see the schedule section below.

  1. Step 1

    You order

Pick your cuts. Checkout confirms whether we can reach your address before you pay, never after.

  2. Step 2

    We cut and pack

Cut for your order, then packed with insulation and coolant for the journey ahead.

  3. Step 3

    It ships

Dispatched on a set schedule rather than whenever, so nothing sits over a weekend.

  4. Step 4

    It arrives

Tracking from our door to yours, with guidance on what to do the moment the box lands.

Packing

How orders are packed

Cuts are sealed, then packed with insulation and coolant sized to the journey. The box is built to arrive cold.

We are not making a temperature guarantee or claiming a certified cold-chain process on this page. The exact packout has to be specified and approved by whoever physically packs the orders before we describe it in detail — a website cannot establish a validated food-safety process on its own.

Who packs and ships, and with whom

Whether orders are packed in-house or by a shipping partner, which carriers and services are approved, the maximum time meat can safely be in transit, and which products are even eligible to ship — none of this is settled.

It decides the packout, the rates and the coverage above, so it comes before the rest.

Intake question 3.2 · blocks scoping

Timing and cost

Schedule and rates

Two more decisions that have to be made before the site can quote anything to a customer.

Dispatch days and cutoff

Which days we ship, the order cutoff and its timezone, how long an order takes to prepare, and what happens over holidays or during weather disruption.

Until these exist, the site cannot honestly show a delivery estimate — and an estimate is not the same as a guarantee, so we will be careful to say which one we are offering.

Intake question 3.3 · blocks scoping

Rates, fees and minimums

Flat rate, table rate or live carrier rates; handling fees; any minimum order; and whether free shipping applies above a threshold.

Final shipping cost is always calculated at checkout against the real destination. Nothing quoted earlier in the journey will contradict it.

Intake question 3.2 · blocks scoping

On arrival

When the box lands

Bring it in promptly and unpack it straight away. Get everything into the fridge or freezer as soon as you have checked the contents against your order.

Specific handling and storage instructions will be written by the merchant and approved before launch, not drafted here (intake 6.2).

If something arrives wrong

What we do about a box that arrives warm, damaged or late — and the returns, refunds and cancellation policy behind it — has to be decided and approved by the merchant.

It is the thing customers care most about when buying meat online, so it will be stated plainly here rather than buried in a policy page.

Intake question 7.1 · needed before launch

Common questions

Can I order meat and seasonings together?

Whether they travel in one box or need to be split into separate shipments depends on the packing rules, which are still being worked out (intake 3.4).

How long will my order take to arrive?

We are not going to put a number here until the dispatch schedule and carrier services are confirmed. When we do, we will be clear about whether it is an estimate or a guarantee.

Can I collect my order from the shop instead?

In-store pickup is not offered yet. Rather than advertise it before it works, we will leave it off the site until it has been set up and tested (intake 4.1).

Will I be able to track my order?

Yes — tracking is part of the launch scope. Which carrier provides it follows from the fulfilment decisions above.

What will shipping cost?

Rates are not set. Whatever they end up being, the final cost is calculated at checkout for your actual address before you pay.
